New Name

Why the Name Change?
We’re stepping into a new name because we believe it’s time for our identity to reflect the renewed mission and movement God is stirring in our church. A name doesn’t change who we are—but it can help us communicate more clearly who we’re called to be. Nexus Pointe captures our heart to be a place of connection—where lives intersect with God, community, and purpose. This change isn’t about forgetting where we’ve been; it’s about boldly stepping into where we’re going, together.

Same Mission

Our Mission Remains the Same.
Though our name is new, our mission is deeply rooted in the spiritual DNA passed down to us. From the holiness heritage of the Church of the Nazarene, we carry forward a commitment to Christlike living, compassionate service, and radical transformation—especially for the marginalized and overlooked. And from the legacy of Calvary Church, we continue the spirit of authentic hospitality. This has always been a church where people feel seen, known, and welcomed with genuine love. What God began here is still alive and well; we’re simply building on that foundation with fresh vision and deeper resolve.

Bigger Vision

How Our Vision is Bigger.
We believe this relaunch is more than a moment—it’s a movement. Our dream isn’t just to grow a church, but to shape a culture of connection where people from every background can encounter the hope of Jesus in tangible ways. We’re asking God to help us create more: more belonging, more healing, more purpose, and more opportunities for transformation right here in our city. Through this new chapter, we’re not just inviting people to attend something—we’re inviting them to become something: a community, simply connected.
